You can lay down and have a nap for a few 3 or 4 mins. 


Nap sitting up, with your eyes closed, with back support, resting back, resting down

When to Nap? 

  • Whenever you can 
  • Anytime after a meal is good, can help digestion 
  • Afternoon siesta time is a classic all over the world, a lull time, afternoon tea time
  • Late morning - morning tea time
  • Whenever you need a rest. 
  • Just after you wake up in the morning - have a nap, yum!


Where to Nap? 

  • Wherever you can get away with it 
  • On the grass . . . under a tree 
  • On a sofa 
  • On the floor 
  • In a car
  • On the beach 
  • On a bed 


How long to Nap for? Experiment. 

  • 2 or 3 minutes is the mini nap. 
  • 5 to 10 is good.
  • 20 minutes is getting serious 
  • Half  an hour or up to one hour is very serious Napping. 


Napping is a mini-retreat --- timeout.

Create a place in your life for Napping. being comfortable is recommended. When Napping use a blanket so you stay warm.
